67 Chevelle Frame and Body Work

We are continuing to repair John’s 67 Chevelle. It required a significant amount of metal work to repair and restore the frame and body panels. At this time we have the frame completed, the trunk floor has been repaired, and the quarter panels have been put into place. Almost done!

65 Mustang Painting in Progress

We are now painting Igor’s 65 mustang viper blue with white stripes, and we took some pictures of the process.  We painted the white base first before masking the white up and spraying the blue on the rest of the car.  Removing the mask exposed the sharp white stripes, and we followed that up with (...)

41 Willys Primer and Paint

We have been busy blocking and priming Doug’s 41 Willys primer and paint. Here are a few photos of it in the paint booth all masked up and ready for paint. Also, here are a few pictures of the car painted. We have applied Victory Red base coat and four coats of high build clear. (...)

41 Willys Restoration Progress

The 41 Willys had its first coat of super build primer applied. After it came out of the paint booth, we have bolted the doors and trunk lid back on. The body is now guide coated so we can see if there are any high or low spots while we block it out. The Willys (...)

Getting ready for high build primer

Here are some pictures of the 65 Mustang in first coats of super build primer. We will block this down starting with 100 grit and work our way up to 320 grit to get it ready for high build primer.  

41 Willys in Paint Booth

Here we have the parts of the 41 willys in the spray booth, ready for first sprayable putty coats. We will put three coats on at this time, waiting for it to flash of in between coats. We will bake the sprayed parts at 130F for about 30 minutes and then let it sit overnight (...)

41 Willys Restoration Progress

Here is the progress report on Doug’s 41 Willys Restoration project. We removed the motor as it is getting rebuilt by Dale at DSE. We are repairing all the cracks in the fiberglass with matt and resin and then doing the body work, getting it ready for the first round of spray filler.    

1965 Mustang Bodywork

We now have all the metal work done on the 65 Mustang!!! We are getting ready to put two coats of epoxy primer on the body and all the parts. We will let that dry for a couple days and then bolt it all back together and line up everything before we start the body (...)
