71 Mustang in Epoxy Primer HomeBody Work71 Mustang in Epoxy Primer

The 71 Mustang has been sprayed with two coats of epoxy primer on everything. We do this so the body doesn’t rust. Since this car is clean and free of pitting, we are going to seam-seal the areas underneath and then spray a sealer, and then paint it semi gloss black underneath before doing the body work. We normally don’t do it this way but since the car was so nice underneath we were able to save time by not having to sand the underneath of the car before painting it. The up side: it is done. The down side: we have to take care not to damage the semi gloss black paint while doing our bodywork and priming.
