Part 2: Filthy Rich visits Randy Colyn Restorations & Rod Shop. This time we get to see finished paint on the 1971 Ford Mustang restoration project! Randy tells us about his time at Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo 2016 with their ’48 Ford Anglia restoration for David Dadd winning grand champion!
Well the 71 mustang is all painted. it has four coats of high build clear on it. We have baked it at 135F for 60 minutes. We will let it cure for a few more days and then start the wet sanding and polishing process.

The 71 mustang is all sanded down and ready for final paint. It is all finished in 800 grit sandpaper. We are going to mask up the outside of the body and spray inside the trunk and floors separately first. Here are some photos of the body masked up and inside of the trunk and (...)
